Who the Soft version is for

Sugarbird Soft is the answer to one specific situation: skin that reacts more strongly than you would like. Thin, sensitive, vascular, mature. Skin where every pass shows and which can start to swell before you have finished working.

Magdalena Mazurek recommends these permanent makeup needles above all for lips and the eye area, where the margin for error is smallest.

What lighter work gives you

Less swelling. A gentler entry into the skin means less trauma during the procedure, and you see that straight away and later, in healing.

Faster work. The skin defends itself less, so you do not have to go back over the same spot again.

Good retention. Gentler does not mean weaker. The pigment is deposited evenly and it stays.

Guidance. The cartridge does not resist your hand, so it is easier to hold an even line through the whole pass.

Available configurations

• 1RLMT 0.25 SOFT: single needle, medium taper. The most universal one, for hair strokes and outline on delicate skin.
• 1RLMT 0.30 SOFT: a slightly stronger mark while keeping the gentle way of working.
• 3RSLT 0.25 SOFT: three needles in a round shader configuration with a long taper, for soft shading.

Soft or standard Sugarbird

Soft for thin, sensitive, vascular and mature skin, and for work on lips and around the eye.

Sugarbird for standard and resistant skin, for work that needs stronger pigment deposition and anywhere you need a wider choice of configurations, from 0.18 NANO through magnum and flat.

Many artists keep both lines and reach for Soft when a client's skin calls for it.

Machine compatibility

A Cheyenne mount, so the cartridges fit OVA Ballerina among others, and any other machine working to that standard.

Frequently asked questions

What exactly does Soft mean?

That the cartridge works more lightly and does not resist your hand. The entry into the skin is gentler, so the procedure traumatises it less.

Will the pigment hold less well?

No. The line was designed for good retention together with gentle work, that is the whole point of it.

Are they suitable for brows?

Yes, especially on thin and mature skin. For brows on resistant skin, standard Sugarbird cartridges with a longer taper are usually the better choice.
